Will the MetalDays 2024 be sold out?
That is very unlikely. Previous location had capacity of 12.000 visitors, and MetalDays was sold out in the years 2016-2019, but not in 2022. new location has capacity of 25.000 visitors. 

Are there separate tickets for camping and parking?
Yes. The camping is included in the ticket price, parking tickets can be bought at the festival.

Can I camp at MetalDays without attending the festival?
No, to camp and park at the festival requires the possession of a valid festival ticket.

Can I park my vehicle next to my tent?
It is permitted in some parts of the camping area. To know where exactly, check the festival map, once it's published.

Does Slovenia require any specific entry documents?
Since Slovenia is part of the EU, visitors from other EU countries do not need any specific documents. Visitors from no EU countries should check with their local embassy to avoid complications.

What currency is used in Slovenia?
The sole currency in Slovenia is the Euro.

Do children get free admittance to the festival?
Yes, for children under the age of 12, the entrance is free. Please note that children can only enter the festival grounds if accompanied by a legal guardian - with a valid MetalDays ticket and it is a must for children to wear ear sound protection!

Can underage visitors enter the festival area?
Yes, but only if accompanied by a legal guardian.

Are pets allowed at the festival/camping area?
NO! Pets are strictly prohibited at the festival (including the camping area!). Please understand, that a festival is not the right place for a pet.

Is open fire allowed on the festival grounds?
Open campfires are strictly prohibited. Using a grill is allowed, but please make sure to use authentic equipment. Grill = gas or coal. Please use the grill as it's supposed to be used. Moving a campfire into a grill is NOT grilling!

Are glass bottles/containers allowed on festival grounds and the camping area?
Yes and no, all kinds of glass containers and bottles are forbidden at the Stage Site. As for the Camp Site: your sausages swim in a jam of glass? Tell them they can continue doing that - ON THE CAMPSITE. If you try to bring them to the Stage Site, they will be confiscated by hungry security staff :-)

Does the festival provide cash dispensers?
Yes, there is an ATM in the festival area (near Info point).

Where can I purchase MetalDays merchandise?
At the festival's merch stand.

Is there a water supply in the camping area? If not we will have to bring our own.
Yes, there is free drinkable water all around the festival area.
