In Flames - a new dawn over Metaldays!
IN FLAMES are not only famous for their modern and melodic-filled metal, which makes you feel really alive, but also for breath-taking, hellish prickling live-shows with a voluminous tension- and action-factor. It shouldn’t be a surprise for you, when Anders Friden and his comrades will ablaze your METALDAYS…
Sweden’s IN FLAMES have never been scared of taking chances or pushing boundaries. With over 2,5 million records sold over the past years their fans wait in fascination and (in some cases) fear of what’s coming next.
Their new album “Sounds Of A Playground Fading” that was released in June 2011 isn’t only a new chapter of IN FLAMES’ lore, but also another proof for their unique formula for success. In fact, IN FLAMES managed to reach some of the best chart results in their career.
“Sounds Of A Playground Fading” was recorded in their own IF Studios with producer Roberto Laghi as well as Daniel Bergstrand as co-producer.
The album title is as thought provoking and unique as the music, reflecting the mindset of the band, Fridén’s in particular. “Sounds Of A Playground Fading” suggests a loss of innocence or a season of change, but it will ultimately mean different things to different people. Suffice to say, it represents IN FLAMES in 2011.
