Schirenc Plays Pungent Stench - instead of Broken Hope

There is no need to say much about Pungent Stench. During the dirty early days of the European death metal-scene, they have been known as THE pioneers of Austrian death besides Disastrous Murmur and Disharmonic Orchestra. Since 2013, bandleader Martin "El Cochino" Schirenc reanimated the band under the banner of “Schirenc Plays Pungent Stench” and brought the rotten splatter-songs back to life.

Schirenc Plays Pungent Stench will replace US death metallers Broken Hope, who unfortunately had to cancel their gig at MetalDays short-dated.

Here is the official statement by Broken Hope:

"First, BROKEN HOPE is unable to perform at your festival – or at any other summer festivals—because Booking Agency failed us. They gave us a disorganized tour with shows surrounding the festivals that are a complete mess—and they only just provided us with the itinerary. Many of the shows were booked last minute, and I just learned that several shows aren’t even confirmed. Therefore, there’s NO promotion for these club dates, and NO money to support us. These last-minute/unconfirmed bookings, has forced us to become unable to go to Europe.

I hope this explanation helps you understand our situation."
