Phantasmagoria - confirmed for Metaldays!

Croatian gothic metal / dark rock  band Phantasmagoria was founded in 1988. in time of big explosion of goth scene in that area. Inspiration for the name was found at the same titled The Damned album, but it also reminds about apparent fiction of universal truth. Marked as a dark and controversial band and often compared with the some of the biggest names of the genre, such as The Sisters Of Mercy, Killing Joke, The Fields Of The Nephilim,......
Alfa and omega of band is singer and local underground guru Tomi Phantsama.
Phantasmagoria soon got the cult status in Croatian underground scene becoming the most famous Croatian gothic band and even become to the first position on national TV video chart with anti war song „Better World“.  This cult status also resulted with bad publicity within the local Catholic Church, which escalated to the constant assaults from local Church newspapers and ripping off the band's posters from the walls because of usage a the pentagram as a symbol and reffering to the philosophy and work of Aleister Crowley.
Phantasmagoria has twice performed at the famous festival "Wave Gotik Treffen" in Leipzig, Germany, played on "Dark Nation Day" festival in Vienna, "Metal Camp" in Slovenia, "Viva La Pola!" festival in Pula, Croatia, a headliner tour in Czech Republic and Slovakia, supported and play with many great acts like The Young Gods, Mizar, Let 3, New Model Army, Iggy Pop, Borghesia, Christian Death, Kismet, Clan Of Xymox, Theatres Des Vampires, Diva Destruction, Mortiis, In Extremo, Charon, Deathstars, Type O Negative, The 69 Eyes, The Mission, Paradise Lost,... 93!
